- Tap Edit profile.

- Paste your address and tap Done, then Done again on the profile screen.
More than one link
Instagram allows several links now, and they appear stacked under your name with the first one shown and the rest behind "and 2 more".
That "and 2 more" is a tap most people never make. If you have three links, effectively you have one — which is the argument for one address that holds everything, rather than three that compete.
When there is no Links option
Older versions of the app call it Website rather than Links, in the same place under Edit profile. If you see Website, use it exactly the same way.
If you see neither, update the app. The setting has not been removed, it has only moved.
What to put there
Your own address, on your own name — not a link to another social account, and not a PDF.
A wine business generally wants one page holding the tasting booking, the shop, the hours and the address. That is what this product is for, and there is a longer piece on what belongs on it.
Questions people ask
How many links can you put in an Instagram bio?
Up to five. They appear under your name with the first link shown and the rest behind “and more”, which opens Instagram’s own list. Most followers only ever see the first, which is why one address that holds everything usually works better than five that compete.
Why can I not click a link in an Instagram caption?
Instagram does not turn web addresses in captions or comments into links, so they cannot be pressed. That is why posts say “link in bio”: the link under your name on your profile is the one place a follower can press to leave Instagram and reach you.
Where is the Links option on Instagram?
Go to your profile, tap Edit profile, then Links, then Add external link. Older versions of the app call it Website, in the same place. If you see neither, update the app: the setting has moved, not gone.
